03 September 2010 plz can any one suggest me, when the name of a company had been changed during the year....whether it is required to prepare two balance-sheet in respect of that........or an consolidated balance-sheet will be sufficient.
also suggest whether under income tax there is requirement of two bal-sheet under two different name or a consolidated balsheet will work in both the cases.

The name of the company will be states as XYZ Pvt. Ltd. (formerly known as ABC Pvt. Ltd.)
