Change in final course

29 May 2015 Do the changes that ICAi has notify will applicable for those who registered for final course in 2016 or for all students whose attempts fall in 2016 ??
My attempts is in nov 16 .. so will this changes applicable in my attempt and should i start taking classes from now ..??

29 May 2015 Basically, whenever Institute makes any changes in the curriculum, the revised curriculum would be applicable to those who REGISTERS through the revised one. For those who have already regd for the old course, they will be given further period of time to write the exams in the old curriculum.

But you should have regd for FINAL COURSE first of all.

Now if you have already regd for final course, you may start preparing for the exams.

29 May 2015 There may be changes in more changes in Financial Reporting in addition to those announced for Nov 2015 & May 2016 exams because IFRS is supposed to be applicable to companies from 1.4.2016. So keep that subject for later. It is also best to do law & DT & IDT later so you study the latest amendments.
You can start with Costing, SFM, etc.
