What are the formalities to be completed for the change of registered address in the same district in case of a private company.

02 March 2011 Hi,

For change of address Form18 should be filed with ROC intimating the new address.

Only a CA or CS in practice can file the form by affixing the Digital Signature.

02 March 2011 The complete procedure is:

1. Conduct BM and pass necessary resolution including approval for change in registered office, filing form no. 18 and to make all necessary changes..

2. Submit Form 18 intimating change in registered office within 30 Days from BM date.

3. Make necessary changes in books, records where old address appears.
