sir, I want to reset the login password to another mail I.d. different than regd. with I t. deptt. for efiling of itr. pl. let me know the procedure. I have sent mail to validate@incometax India.gov.in with pan details. but I recd mail stating the p.word would be shared with the regd I.d. only. pl tell me how to change the p.word to another email I.d.

First of all, confirm, whether you have login password, if yes you can change email id from profile icon after login.
If you have no password, then contact to your client and guide him to take Digital Signature to change password. By using client dsc, you can change password and email ID accordingly
