CFP after CS

This query is : Resolved

25 October 2010 hello
I'm a student of CS Exec. I intend to write CFP(certified financial planner)last module after 2 years on completion of CS course. I would like to know IF I can be a financial planner as well as a Company Secretary i.e. at the same time. IF NOT, can i just give CFP exams for securing knowledge and will it help me in my functioning as a Company Secretary?

Experts please advice.

26 October 2010 CFP and CS work in entirely diffrent area. my advice to u wud be go for LLB ..it makes a gr8 sense then ...
otherwise yes u can do CFP n CS both but u cant hold COP while working as CFP......
...
but having said everything....my vote goes for CS+LLB....
think again

27 October 2010 LLB is a 3 year course n since i am having time constraints i have decided to opt for 2-year Master in Business Law (MBL) from NLSIU, Bangalore. Is it a viable option?

27 October 2010 obioulsy it is....
with CS+MBL is also a good option
