Whether Member of ICAI who are not in practice can give certification other then financial certificate?like true copy & Charecter certificate etc

Attestation of copies of original documents for academic or immigration: Only Class I public servants/officers mentioned above in ranks and bank managers of a nationalised bank as well.
Character certificate: Police records verification and Class I gazetted officers
Citizenship certification: Citizenship certification is limited to very few officials e.g., Sub-Divisional Magistrate
Noted Please:
All officers who are in class III and IV are Non-Gazetted Officers or public servants, e.g. Nationalised bank officials are not gazetted officers but protocol ranks exist and they are authorised to certify copies of documents.

AS PER FOREIGN TRADE POLICY 2009-2014, CA, ICWAI AND CS IS ADMISSIBLE PERSON FOR ATTEST THE DOCUMENTS PRESCRIBED BY DGFT.
