21 January 2010 As per the new voluntary guidelines of the corporate governence it is recommended that to Separate Offices of Chairman & Chief Executive Officer of a
company.

objective is to make a balance of power but dont you think this will lead to a greater wastage of time in discussion & debates.please all members must make their valuable contribution to end up with a solution on practical & ethical grounds as well.

21 January 2010 Generally, Chairman is the person who holds a considerable amount of direct financial interest in the Company. Whereas, the CEO would be a hired professional. It would be definitely better to have both the offices seperate. Any time spent on discussions/debates for maintaining fair practices should be welcomed.
