If you are manaufacturing exciseable goods,you can avail cenvat credit of cvd.

if importer has mentioned on the invoice that he has refunded the additional duty then we can not take credit of such and visa versa
some times importer mention on the invoice that such 4% add.duty is not eligible for taking cenvat credit if it is not mention then we can take the credit
