If the bills lost at your end ,you can raise a letter to superintendent with taking the credit based on extra copy or photo copy of DFT/Original invoice If the bill lost at supplier end,you have to get indemnity bond and mention the missing copies and based on the bond you can avail credit with photo copy
After his confirmation ,you can claim
In case lost of both,you can claim through indemnity bond with extra copy

Get the duplicate copy of the bill either from the transporter or the bill raiser as all people connected with the transaction cannot say that they have lost the bills
