Central Sales Tax rate reduced from 3% to 2% effective from 1st June, 2008. Notification dated : 30.05.2008 issued.
There was rumour that Government has withdrawn the decision to reduce CST within an hour of its release.
Please, clarify, how it is possible when Government has already issued the Notification.
