hi.what is provisional attachment in relation to central excise

Section 11DDA of central excise act make provision for provisional attachment of property of a person to whom show cause notice has been served under section 11A or 11D of central excise act if the central excise officer is of the opinion that it is necessary to do so, to protect interests of revenue.
