19 October 2010 Dear Sir / Madam,
Please let me know at which level Excise Registration is required?
i.e.
I have one client with HO at Mumbai
Production Unit 1 at Silvasa with 3 Excisable Warehouse
Production Unit 2 at Ahmedabad GIDC with 2 Excisable Warehouse
I am working for their ERP so please let me know at which level Excisable Registration Number need to be specified and printed on documents

20 October 2010 Excisable Registration will be required at each Warehouse, if it is separated by different gates, i.e. if these warehouses are not in the same premises.
