Would the director appointed in the casual vacancy caused by resignation of a Director be an additional Director who holds office only till the conclusion of the ensuing AGM?

If the resigned director is a regular director whose appointment was regularised in General meting then the director appointed in the casual vacancy caused by the former is a director appointed in casual vacancy, whose term coincides with the date of expiry office of the original one.
