Cash flow statement in scritiny case

26 October 2011 ITO ask me to produce cash flow statement in a case of cash deposit of Rs.1750000/- deposited in a saving account during the year in an individual assessee scritiny case where no books of account has been mantained.cash deposited by 10-15 times during the year on different dates ranging from 50000/- to 200000/-. what can i do and how can i prepare the cash flow statement.

If ITo not surrender to u, prepare cash flow statment by direct method.
as Cash opening
Add. Cash earned
Less Cash utilised
cash closing

i think Ito want to check that in previous year your cash was negative or not.
