CASE LAW ASKED IN EXMAS

This query is : Resolved

09 October 2010 IN FINAL CA MORE THAN 50 MARKS ARE RESERVED FOR DIRECT QUESTIONS ON CASE LAWS ON DT AND IDT
I HAVE READ ALL THE CASE LAWS GIVEN IN THE CASE LAW BOOK OF ICAI 2009 AVAILABLE ON WEBSITE
HOW CAN I LEARN THE NAME OF ALL THE CASE LAWS. THERE ARE MORE THAN 80 CASE LAWS IN THE BOOK????
ALSO ARE THE CASE LAWS IN THE BOOK ENOUGH FOR PREPARATION FOR THIS NOV 10 EXAMS

12 October 2010 Hi Atul,
Case laws are countless.
You need to read all case laws given in case law digest issued by ICAI. But there is no guarantee that all questions regarding case laws will come from that material only.
Remembering names also is difficult.
But you try to read all the case laws daily for 1 hour.
You may be able to remember atleast some of case law names.
Not quoting case law name in exam is better than quoting a wrong case law name. Be cautious regarding it.
All the best.
