01 January 2015 Hi - I would like to pursue my career in Valuation(Corporate Finance). I would like to know what course should I pursue to get a job in Valuations(Corporate Finance).

I am pursuing CA, but articleship doesnot provide in any exposure to the career I want to pursue. I would like to pursue another course related to Valuations(Corporate Finance), so that I can get a job in that particular field.

01 January 2015 For a CA to get a breakthrough in core finance directly is a little difficult task but not impossible.
One might opt for industrial training in a company with core finance work , that gives you upper hand during placements by ICAI or to joint the same company from where the student is doing his or her industrial training
One may also take up CFA which is a course totally related to finance and also got worldwide recognition.
Even ICAI conducts courses on valuations for members.
