Career guidance for visually challenged chartered accountant

28 November 2012 I am Mohit gupta I have recently cleared CA final exams in May 2012 despite of my vision disability of 60% . i am suffering from an incurable eye disease called Retinitis Pigmentosa due to which i find difficulty in readinfg and needs assistance in movement during night. I have done all my studies using magnifiers lenses and high lighted table lamps. Now since i have completed my studies looking for bright career. i need guidance regarding my career. I want to start my career as a consultant .please guide how should i plan where should i proceed for job or which type of companies are best suitable.also suggest what type of qualities should i develop to excel in my career.

28 November 2012 You can always think of doing "chamber practice" where most of your time will be on listening, giving dictation and arguing before tax authorities.

02. IFRS, DISA, valuation, peer review, forex are good courses offered by ICAI.
