29 January 2019 Hello Members & Experts,

I am a CA Final Student & have a good academic track record & also cleared CPT & IPCC (Both Groups)
in first attempt. Unfortunately , it took me 4 attempts to clear CA Final Group 1 as my results were
manipulated by ICAI in Nov, 2017 exams. I will give my 5th attempt in upcoming exams.

I have a good articleship exposure & also worked as a Industrial Trainee in a Listed PSU. I wish to make a
career in Banking & Finance after qualifying CA.

I hereby request for advise from experts regarding good roles in Banking & Finance industry for CA's.

If you wish to serve PSU Banks then you should prepare for PO role (Probation Officer) and these PSU Banks like SBI, CBoI and others declare openings regularly. You have to appear in exams and then may go through Interview process for particular role.
Otherwise Banks like ICICI Bank, Indusind BAnk and other Private Sector Banks prefer Chartered Accountants for their Internal Audit Department or Credit Appraisal Departments. You can also join their Business or Marketing team who interacts with clients for funding proposals.
Apart from this, one can initially join any Investment Banking firm like Colliers, EY, Knight Frank etc who plays role of mediator between prospective Lender and the Borrower and prepare all CMA related data for borrowers and present to the lenders.
