20 June 2016 Dear Sir/Madam Currently I am working in a Outsourcing company. I working here for past 3.6 years. I am also pursuing ICWAI intermediate but not yet completed. I already give my resignation to my company at last week but they never accept it. They come for negotiation and provide me Team Leader offer with conditions said that I get only promotion but pay for the same will be provide on November. Please any one can give clear idea whether I can accept it or leave it because most of the colleague and well-wisher suggest to accept it. I need expert suggestion.

20 June 2016 It is a tricky situation and depends upon how much hike you will be given in the month of November. If it is commensurate with industry standard you could wait until then. The key thing to take in to consideration is what if the promise made today is not on expected lines in the month of November? It is a wait of around four to five months, but when you are working as team leader they are testing your people managing skills too, in case your given a team to lead.

Suppose, in November the hike is very meagre and you feel let down, and then you want to move out of company, the big head ache will be to find a company which can offer you better deal in alignment with your designation and you may be aware the prospective companies would give you a hike based on your immediate CTC.

Weigh all these options while further negotiating and if they offer you a sweet deal, then accept it..
