I want to know in this cutting throat competition what other courses you must that a ca student must do beside ca.

19 August 2010 Doing other courses will definitely help you in your success path in future. Hoever, it does not guarantee but definitely you will have an edge with that.

With CA you can go for CS, if more interested towards Company Laws and regulations.

Join CWA, if interested in cost accounting and management.

A brief view of them is >
CFA (US), CMA(UK). these are Long term duration with ore than 3 years.

CPA, CFP, CIA, CISA atc. are medium term duration depending upon the devotion and your level of knowledge.

Further there are many certification Programmes like, CIFRS, NCFM, CMA (US) etc.
