16 February 2009 sir my client is IOCL mathura refinery, they are not capitalising RO plant as a single plant & machinery. they are capitalising it in sub parts saying that all its components are seperately identifiable. Is it a right accounting treatment?

19 February 2009 If every part can be used for more than one use and parts can be use seperately than only they can capitalised seperately otherwise they have to capitalised them as a one P & M
