What would be the accounting treatment of capital reserve arising on acquiring of Associate in Consolidated Financial Statment of the investor.

Dear Anshul,
The goodwill / capital reserve arising on acquiring an associate will be included in the cost of the investment only.
Refer Paras 3.8; 6 & 12 of AS 23.
