LONG TERM CAPITAL LOSS OF SHARES ON WHICH STT HAS NOT BEEN PAID CAN BE SET OFF AGAINST OTHER LONG TERM CAPITAL GAIN?

yes if the above shares are sold in the open market & stt is not paid then you will setoff the same onather long term capital gain
