19 December 2011 short term 1 year long term more than 1 year.

STCG taxable at slab rates LTCG taxable @ 20%.

But you yourself do not seems to follow it. So you are preaching something you are not following yourself.

Dear Neha,
The option to pay tax @ 10% on LTCG without indexation is in case of listed securities only when shares are not sold in stock exchange and not otherwise. Please read the section 112. So your answer to that extent is incorrect.
