if long term capital gain arises out of sale of share or equity mutual funds,in this case we have to pay tax on LTCG or not?

LTCG on securities is exempted provided conditons mentioned u/s 10(36)or 10(38) is fullfilled otherwise tax is require to paid @ mentioned u/s112
