what is the prodedure to take a step back of issuing preferential allotment of a listed company if the allottes unwilling to take the allotment?

As per my understanding:
1. Forfeit the upfront money, if any
2. Pass a shareholders resolution for cancellation of deal.
3. Intimate the stock exchange
alternatively you may take advice directly from the stock exchange.
