Cancellation of GSTIN Appeal Admitted

Quick Summary

Sir, GSTIN of one of my client was cancelled w.e.f.17.01.22. Appeal was made on 03.11.22, appeal was admitted on 11.11.22. But till date GSTR filing facility has not been enabled. No any further notice or requirement received by my client. What should I do now ? I have to file pending GSTR.

Once any GSTIN is cancelled you cannot sell through that GSTIN unless it has been activated again. You can file all returns till the effective date of cancellation and not after that.

All returns till cancellation date has already been filed. For further filing, filing facility has not been enabled yet inspite of my filing appeal and appeal has also been admitted .

Admission of appeal does not mean that your registration will become valid.

Thanks for your prompt reply sir . But I did not sell any goods since my GSTIN is being cancelled. Now, I want only to file NIL GSTR and appealed to revoke my cancellation order so that I may start my business again. But due to filing facility blocked, I cannot do so .

Then you have to finish the appeal procedure. There must be a date given to you for hearing and then if GSTIN is restored you will be able to file returns
