18 December 2012 We import wax and now want to sell locally so for that can we pass on CVD to our buyers and customers also we are registration of excise too so please brief us to help our buyers to offer them better rates and excise, taxes benefit

18 December 2012 You have to be registered with the Central Excise Dept. for taking credit of the Customs duty paid by you. The following duties paid can be taken credit by you & the same can be passed on to your customer as "Billable Excisable Duty" under Cenvatable Invoice

Thanks for your reply, we are registration certificate from Central Excise department. So is it ok that we can pass on modvat or do we need to take permission for taking credit of the custom paid by us.

20 December 2012 It means we can pass on cvd and addl duty to our buyers and customers for local selling
