Can we fix basic rs. 6500 for pf purpose

Please guide me can we Fix 6500 Rs. as basic for PF Calcullation ( For All Team Members) Take a Example
Ram is working as a GM his Gross Salary per Month is Rs. 90000/- Can we fix 6500/-Rs Basic if he is intersted in PF
or we have to take permission from PF Dept.

You are liable for PF only for those employees whose basic pay is upto Rs. 6500.00 p.m. For those whose basic pay is more than 6500 you are not liable to pay PF, so you can exclude those persons from the PF list.

I am agree with Mr. Tilak Raj Sharma but if you require to deduct PF for those employees whose basic salary is more then 6500/- then you can deduct and there is no prior permission require from PF dept.
