i have submitted online ITR for the FY 2013-14 its show me that income tax of rs 2990/
so can i pay the income tax after submitted the ITR
and after that i have to revised the return or no need to revised the return

18 August 2014 If you have not paid the tax before submitting the return, then your return is to be treated as defective return.

18 August 2014 in case of defective return, a notice is sent to the assesee to rectify the mistake within 15 days or time limit mentioned on the notice, if you rectify the mistake within that period then your return is not treated as defective.

18 August 2014 If you have submitted the return before due date (i.e.31/07/2014), you pay the tax and revise the return.

18 August 2014 If you have filed the return after due date, pay the tax and wait for the notice from ITD.

18 August 2014 NO SIR I HAVE SUBMITTED THE RETURN AFTER DUE DATE .
NOW I PAY THE TAX AND REVISE THE RETURN
AND SAME SUBMIT THE 1ST ONE AND THE REVISE RETURN TO THE CPS , OFFICE
AND WHAT TO DO IF I GET THE NOTICE FROM IT DEPT
