Can e-file income tax return ay 2013-14 (individual) nil

Thanks! in advance.

One of my client(individual) wish to file INCOME TAX Return for AY 2013-14 with NIL tax liability. Along with AY 2014-15 & 2015-16. He want to go for home loan.

Pl suggest AY 2013-14?

Pl if possible today.

15 April 2015 As last date of belated return to file in income tax is 2 years from the last date of previous year for which return has to file.
i.e. in your case
1) AY 2013-14- PY 2012-13-last date to file return is 31.03.2015, hence at present it can't be filed.

2)AY 2014-15 and AY 2015-16- return can be filed.

But when I logged into my account on incometaxefiling.gov.in , even the excel utility is available for AY 2013-14 and also the provision to upload returns for previous years is still active i.e. under the e-file tab.

Has the e-filing for previous years actually been stopped or not?
