can articleship be pursued outside india?

26 May 2008 pls tel me wthr articleship can be pursued outside india say in dubai,bahrain.....does the institute specifically says that articleship should be done within india?

26 May 2008 yes, u can pursue articleship outside india. recently institute has allowed it. but remember it will be only under a member of institute only. means if a member have branch in abroad with due permission from icai, then u can do articleship under him.
