Dear all,
my client is physical handicapped, he has taxable business income, has savings 1,00,000(U/s 80c)
my doubt is can he claim 50,000 deduction U/s80U because he is physically handicapped but not having salary income

Pl check the essential conditions for claiming deduction u/s 80U before claiming. In my view he can eligible to claim subject to fulfil the above stipulated conditions.
