18 January 2016 Hello Sir,

I want to whether a person or company of USA can invest in a private limited company in India. What is the procedure and taxation on the profit distributions.

19 January 2016 Yes - he can invest. But if your business is in "approval" list of RBI, you have to get prior approval. If your business is in "Prohibited" list of RBI, you cannot invest. Depending on your nature of business I can advise you

I also want to know how can he get back his share of profit , is there any tax charge or any other duty to be paid in india or in his country..

27 January 2016 The corporate tax rate + dividend distribution tax totally comes to nearly 48%. Balance dividend he can take it.
