In sept issue of CA Journal in Know your ethis the following question appeared
Q. Can a member who is in part time/full time employment apply
for Certificate of Practice and perform audit?
A. No, he cannot perform audit although he can apply for Certificate
of Practice.
Could you please explain the purpose of taking COP while in employment?
For becoming FCA , is COP is neccessary ?

Yes , you can take COP , so that any type you can start practice after leaving the service.

Yes you can take Part Time COP while you are in employment.
