17 November 2012 Dear sir ,
There are 2 types of call centres 1. domestic call centres 2. international call centres

for domesctic call centres the income earned by them is 100% taxable ....

for international call centres since the call centre is being situated in india , any income arising is being received in india . So it will be taxable ....

For call centre situated in Special Economic Zone , no income tax will be chargeable ....like WIPRO has a call centre business but it is in SEZ there fore no income tax will be paid by WIPRO bcoz sez has been specifically excluded from tax and duties .....The call centre services in SEZ is taxfree ....
