23 June 2017 I have completed my 3 years articleship in April. I gave my CA IPCC group 2 exams in may 2017 and presently awaiting my result.

If I register for CA Final course in August 2017 , am I eligible to appear in November 2017 exams?

If yes then would the new course be applicable to me as I will register for final course after July 2017?

23 June 2017 All registrations after 30 June will automatically be under the new scheme.
The first exam under new scheme will be in May 2018.
Hence, u would not be able to give exams in Nov 2017

23 June 2017 Under the FAQ's issued by icai, it was mentioned that this criteria is under consideration but no clarification has been made under this respect

23 June 2017 Well, I believe that since you have just given IPCC, so you also need time to prepare well for finals. Hence May 2018 attempt would any way be beneficial. Also, for May 2018 exams you be studying updated laws such as GST and no more ISCA subject. Revised curriculum is actually better than the current one. I would personally suggest you to choose May 2018 even if you have option for Nov 2017.
Furthermore, do check out ICAI webcast on 27 June for more clarity on new ca scheme..
