03 January 2025 I cleared the 1st group of PE-II in Nov 2006. I wanted to continue my studies, so I converted from PE-II to the intermediate course on 1st December 2018.
But unfortunately, I couldn't continue. Can you please let me know what the procedure is now if I want to continue my studies?
I don't know where to start and what to do. Can you please help?

1. Revalidate Your Registration
Intermediate registration is valid for 4 years.

Since you last converted in Dec 2018, your registration expired in Dec 2022.

You need to apply for revalidation on the ICAI Self Service Portal.

Pay a nominal fee (~₹400)

You’ll get confirmation of revalidation from ICAI

2. Identify Applicable Syllabus (New Scheme 2024)
ICAI has now moved to the CA New Scheme (2024) under the CA Regulations, 1988 (amended in 2022).

Under this:

You’ll appear for CA Intermediate (New Syllabus – 2 groups of 3 papers each).

Since your past Group 1 in PE-II was under an old scheme, you’ll have to appear for both groups afresh under the new syllabus.

Your earlier pass-out doesn’t carry forward in the current scheme after such a long gap.
