06 May 2014 I am B.COM from India. At present I am in Saudi Arabia working as an Accountant. I would like to pursue CA may I know how can I register online & do I need to take CPT exam.

06 May 2014 Since you are already a B.Com, you need not write CPT provided you have more than 60% in your B.Com. You can download the form for IPCC registration from http://www.icai.org/new_post.html?post_id=721&c_id=120.

07 May 2014 Dear Neha Ji, for b.coms, cut off is 55%. 60% is applicable for non-commerce cases.

Syed, you can avoid CPT provided you have more than 55% marks in b.com.
