05 November 2014 Hello everyone..

I have qualified as CA in Nov 2014. Now i want to start my practice.

Now please guide me about what are the possible alternative in which a CA diversify in practice or what are the other possible option in which a CA can work as consultant.

Other major issue is that how do i get the clients. or what the possible ways or alternatives through which i can increase my client list.

Please guide.

07 November 2014 Possible areas for a CA in Practice:
1 Income-Tax.2.Service Tax 3.Sales Tax 4. Accounting support services etc.,5.Project Reports etc.,These are some of the areas where a CA can render his professional services.Now think about how to get the work in these areas.First start meeting your friends,relatives and give your visiting cards.Have a good computer/printer.Visit Branches of Banks and introduce yourself confidently.Bank managers can direct some clients and give various works like, project reports,Income-tax returns.Do not ignore even a small client for ex., salary return.These are some tips from which you can explore many ways depending on the place you live/work.Meet some seniors of the profession for getting some works on assignment.Initially though the payments are less, do no get disturbed.Some day these will become much more.Best wishes.
