I have cleared IPCC Group 1 in May 2016 and Group 2nd in Nov 2016.My CA FINAL attempt is Nov 2019(after 2.5 years) or May 2020(after 3 years).I have already join articleship since 26 Dec 2016.Now I want to know that should I register myself for FINAL or not right now because I have the following doubts:
(1)Changes in syllabus due to revised scheme of CA education;
(2)Expiration of study material of subjects like Direct tax, Indirect tax

11 February 2017 To answer your doubts:
1. The syllabus is in draft form and is likely to get rolled out any time by the institute, so irrespective of it, you need not wait for the announcement. When ICAI thinks it is right, it will notify the dates and other relevant information.

2. Buying books on a regular basis to keep oneself updated is the need for pursuing CA course as there would be many changes by the time you appear in the examination. New law on GST would be certainty and there could be many more changes that may take place.
