Ca final registration + gmcs/ gmcs 2/ advanced icitss

28 January 2018 Hi Experts,

I have two queries.

1) I had registered for CA Final in Feb 2013. Do I need to re-validate my CA Final registration, as it will be 5 years in Feb 2018. If yes, what is the procedure?

2) I have completed Orientation course + ITT + "GMCS - 1" + Advanced ITT.

Do I need to complete:
a) Advanced ICITSS Advanced IT and MCS course

OR

b) Only Advanced ICITSS - MCS course.

OR

c) Only GMCS 2

Please help me. It would be very helpful if you answer is backed by a valid source.

29 January 2018 if you were supposed to do gmcs 2 then you are required to do it. "No, a student who has already undergone OC & ITT / GMCS & ADV. ITT will not be required to undergo that course again." but you have not undergone gmcs 2

I am registered under CA Final Existing Scheme (not the revised scheme).

I am confused whether to do GMCS 2 or AICITSS (MCS) because as per Guidlines in https://www.icai.org/post.html?post_id=13643

It says
Eligibility for AICITSS (MCS)
"The students registered under the existing scheme and appearing in the final
examination in the existing scheme shall undergo the course before applying for
membership of the Institute. "

I am worried because there is no clarity on which course to be done.
What if I register for GMCS 2 and later institute says I should have done AICITSS (MCS) instead.

29 January 2018 when i cleared my exams i did gmcs 2 in the batch of gmcs (where there is nothing as such gmcs 1 or gmcs 2)
