04 July 2016 Sir/Ma'am I have started my Articleship on 16th October 2014 and took transfer on 31st may 2015. I took leave of 55 days and the reply to my transfer letter said there were excess leave of 25 days of which i was not very much aware about. I rejoined my Articleship on 4th june 2015. now what will be my attempt for ca final stands a query. My earlier attempt was to be May,2017 and through some contacts i am informed that my attempt has been postponed in regards to excess leaves. Can i adjust my excess leaves by not taking permissible leaves in next 2 years which i already have taken care of. please reply to my query as soon as possible. I'll be glad to hear any solutions not to have my attempt postponed.

04 July 2016 If u can complete ur articleship including max leaves of 156 & any extension on or before 31st October,2017,then u can give May 17 attempt.

04 July 2016 yes i m ready to adjust my excess leaves with my rest of permissable leaves. But is it allowed as per the rules

You can read the letter of ICAI in which they gave excess leaves & tell ur principal to adjust the excess leaves in remaining permissible leaves.
