i am a student of CA Final old Syllabus.

what is the procedure for writing a Ca Final under new syllabus.i am not sure of the conversion procedure i wish to write the Nov attempt.i read a letter of communication shall be sent by way of mail / letter posted to the postal address and it did not happen.

kindly give clarity.

28 February 2011 C.A final old students r now automatically converted to new final as per notifictn by icai on 3rd feb. So no need to fill any form. U can attempt in new final from may11 onwards. But as books r also provided to old students at concessional rate of rs.300. Go and avail it last date is may15.

But my worry is i have feeling that some time the institute demanded Rs .1100 for registration under new course and for supply of study Material .

how to apply for study material. I hope we an take a DD on the institute for study material and same shall be suppled free of cost with a mention of Registration number.

01 March 2011 Institue is not demanding any thing for conversion it is free of cost and automatic. If you want to buy new study material then you need to give DD at institute office and they will provide you new study material on the spot. Our institute has fix the price Rs. 300/- per subject which includes modules and practice manual. So as per your requirement you can purchase material for either for entire 8 subject or individually also. You need to attach CA Finla registration letter and hand written application along with DD. i wish to take all the study materials and wish to know what will be the total amount for all the study materials .

i hope these can be purchased at all counters of the institute at the same rate by producing the ca final enrollment cirtificate

yes it can be purchased from all counters but before making DD just ensure the charges because in Vadodara i have paid Rs.1240 for entire group and if i have gone for 3 subjects then i would have paid Rs. 900 so that little difference in DD amount may create littel problem. So just ensure the charges.
