17 July 2012 can any one advice me on the CA course , i have done b.com in 2001,i m wrking as manager accounts and finance .i want to do ca course , should i need to do article ship under CA,in 2 year .i cant leave the job and wrk under CA TO complete article ship.

and also can any one tell me the difference between, a CA COURSE AND ICWAI COURSE

17 July 2012 As per CA curriculum, one is mandatorily required to work under a CA for a period of 3 Yrs.

The content of both the courses is almost the same. In CA major emphasis is on Taxation and AS whereas in CWA it is on Costing.

An advantage under CWA is that industrial experience is counted as a part of Training. This is not the case with CA. Here you will have to mandatorily undergo the training for 3 Yrs.
