Ca certification_exemption excise duty

Dear learned members,
This is with respect to the captioned subject.
In this regard, please let me know whether I need to avail a CA certification for claiming exemption from Excise duty as the business total turnover of business is less than 1.50 lacs. And the company has commenced the business this f.y year only.
