Can a listed Company buy back its shares from a private investor at a future date.

please share your views.

08 September 2010 A Listed Company cannot do so. However, another option is for the promoter to buy out the private investor at a future date through an share purchase agreement.

08 September 2010 Yes. The Promoter can do so. The agreement would be in the nature of agreement for first right of refusal.
