What are the factors which should be kept in mind while auditing items under BUSINESS PROMOTION head? Does credit card payment can be a part of it?

generally hotel bills and purchase bill i.e gift item are included in credit card payment which can be in the nature of business promotion.however personal expenses of directors shall not be allowed as business promotion

Sometimes Business Promotion Exp. are reimbursed to the company by its supplier thus it needs to be properly vouched.
