Business commencement date for gst

13 November 2017 Hello,
I am going to start E-commerce business, as per GST act it's mandatory to have GST number for E-commerce business but I am confused, as my business is yet to start So I want to put business commencement date as 25th Nov'17. Can I put this date, as I am registering tommorow for GST number?

13 November 2017 No you cant show future date. Either put date of registration or starting day of month.

14 November 2017 First the business commencement comes then you can obtain GST registration.

14 November 2017 Yes you can. But kindly ensure that you have obtained all the requisite permits and licences to commence the business.
