28 February 2013 As per budget, TDS at 1 per cent on properties being sold for more than Rs 50 lakh except agricultural land, I have many doubts about it.
1) Flats are included in it?
2) Non agricultural land sold by one individual to other then also TDS will apply?

28 February 2013 Yes both are Liable for TDS because the words used are "IMMOVABLE" property.
